Alex Grant

Alex Grant's books include The Poems of Wing Lei (Wind Publications, 2012), The Circus Poems (Lorimer Press, 2010; 2011 SIBA finalist), and Fear of Moving Water (Wind Publications, 2009; 2011 Oscar Arnold Young and Brockman Campbell runner-up). He has received the Oscar Arnold Young Award (Best Collection by a North Carolina poet), The Randall Jarrell Prize, The Pavel Srut Poetry Fellowship, and the Kakalak Poetry Prize. A six-time Pushcart Prize nominee, Grant has had work published in Best New Poets 2007, The Missouri Review, Arts & Letters, The Connecticut Review, Seattle Review, Verse Daily, and many other national venues. He lives in Chapel Hill, NC, with his wife, his dangling participles, and his Celtic fondness for excess.
