Mary Jo Bang
Mary Jo Bang is the author of six collections of poetry, including Louise in Love (Grove Press, 2001), Elegy (Graywolf Press, 2007)—which received the National Book Critics Circle Award—and The Bride of E (Graywolf Press, 2009). She has been the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and a Hodder Fellowship from Princeton University. Her translation of Dante’s Inferno, with illustrations by Henrik Drescher, is forthcoming from Graywolf Press in 2012. She is a professor at Washington University in St. Louis.
